Elm Creek Park
Description: Two large loops through nature areas within the park reserve in the northwest portion of Maple Grove. The northern loop is flatter. Trail is completely inside the park with minimal road crossings.
Meeting location: 12400 James Deane Pkwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369
Getting There: Take Highway 169 north from 694 until it intersects with 81. Turn left on 81 and follow it through Osseo. A few miles west of Osseo turn right on Elm Creek Blvd. Turn into the park entrance at the 2nd exit from the traffic circle. Follow the road to the Chalet parking lot.
Other nearby trails: The Northern Corridor Trail connects directly to the east of this park and heads east to the Coon Rapids Dam. At the southwest corner, a newly developed trail connects to the Rice Creek trail system in Maple Grove and eventually heads south to Fish Lake Regional Park.
