We started by approving the minutes of the January meeting with a few changes. We also had a brief discussion of the budget, which we will discuss and vote on at March's meeting.
We talked about having another wheel rotation date and a club table at the Rollerdome. We decided on the following dates:
Wednesday, March 1: Club table, upstairs only - don't expect the speedskaters to be there
Monday, March 13: Club table and wheel rotation downstairs
As far as the hotline is concerned, Bill updated it. We are looking for someone else to take over updating and answering the hotline.
We have 23 club members signed up and paid for the 2006 membership season. We had a total of 102 members last year.
The shirts have come in, so we admired the new color scheme. Our inventory of previous years’ shirts is 5 long sleeve shirts, 9 tan shirts, 7 white shirts, and 32 orange shirts.

A comment was made that people like having pictures in the newsletter - it's fun.
We discussed the trails on our list and put together a schedule for the Monday recreational skates. Some of the comments were:
We'd like to do the Gateway Trail again - last year's got rained out
South St. Paul trail is short and smelly
Snail Lake - Don't want to do it again; it has too much debris
Minnetonka has a good trail system - maybe we could schedule some explore skates there
Hyland Lake Park Reserve is fairly hilly

As far as Monday nights are concerned, we will be serving lemonade in June, July, August, and part of September. April, May, and October are cooler and less well-attended skates, so we don't have to commit to bringing lemonade.
Someone mentioned putting PDF archives of the newsletters on the Web site. (Webmaster's note: This is possible, but I just need to find them all.)
We also tentatively scheduled our trail cleanups. The Earth Day cleanup is being moved to April 29, since the Metrodome Inline Marathon is the week before that. The Midtown Greenway trail can be done the first Monday night of May, June, and August before the Monday recreational skate.
We are planning a day skate for May 27 (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend), and others will be announced.
