ABOUT US
The Minnesota Inline Skate Club was started in 1996 as the Metro Inline
Skate Club. Now in our tenth year of existence, MISC is organized
to promote inline skating in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, the rest
of Minnesota, and neighboring areas where there are interested skaters.
MISC is committed to promoting inline skating by doing the following:
- Providing organized skating events such as the Monday Fun Skate,
Friday Fitness Skate, and other special events
- Supporting other events and races such as the Minnesota Half Marathon, Metrodome Inline Marathon, and North Shore Inline Marathon
- Keeping skaters informed of current and upcoming events through
club e-mails and through the club's Web site
- Working with government agencies to promote skaters' rights and
interests
MISSION STATEMENT
